Natalie and I spent most of today looking around Ft. Collins. The first thing we did after breakfast and leaving the hotel was to head to Autozone to get the check engine light scanned on the Envoy. The code reported a problem with either the MAP or one of the hoses. I ended up resetting the code, and we drove the rest of the day, a couple hundred miles, without it coming back on. Perhaps it was just the altitude yesterday that caused a problem.
After getting the Envoy squared away we started calling Dressage barns in the area and went and visited a few. We found one that I think Natalie really likes, Chatellen, I like it too, but mostly because of the beagle Joe. Well Joe and check out the view from their farm of the mountains.

After visiting two barns we toured around Ft. Collins for a while and came a cross the Horsetooth Reservoir, talk about an amazing place. The weather was around 60 degrees today, so there were a lot of people out hiking, biking and walking around.

The reservoir serves up a great overlook of Ft. Collins as well, I imagine at night it would be even more amazing.

We saw some amazing homes driving around today, and started making our way south towards Denver. On the way down we drove over to Boulder, and then south through Golden. Both coming up with amazing views, and extremely pricey homes! I’ll have to be sure to purchase a powerball ticket for tomorrow night’s drawing just so we can buy a house with a great view :D
We’re now down in Lone Tree, Colorado, just south of Englewood. We’ve got four barns lined up to look at on Saturday, all south of Denver. Then we’ll be meeting up for dinner with a group of my fraternity brothers for dinner. We’re headed home on Sunday morning, I can’t believe our trip is almost over, we’re having a blast, and area already looking forward to our next trip out here.
More updates tomorrow night!
